In addition to writing, he has had multiple careers, both sequentially and simultaneously: Earning both his bachelor’s degree and doctorate from one of the leading universities in the US, he has been a management scientist, manager and entrepreneur, co-founding businesses in both the technology and visual arts worlds. A musician since childhood, he has been both a playing member and Trustee of one of the most highly regarded community symphonic wind ensembles in the country for more than 40 years. Dr. Ormond now devotes his time to performing music, assisting in the management of this wind ensemble and writing fiction.
