She lived in the Orchard Park housing project from a little girl up until her late teen years. She witnessed a lot of life-shattering events there that eventually brought her to life. Being bullied frequently throughout the years in turn made her resilient. Depression was a battle she won, giving hope and inspiration to people that suffer from alopecia that they could defeat the disease as well. She wouldn’t always feel like a loser to the female bullies like she did when she was a little girl.
