Letch spent many years working as a radio journalist in New England, Indiana and Alaska before becoming an aide to a state senator. He now divides his time between Juneau and Kodiak, Alaska, setting for his two mystery novels, Bitter Cold and The Stir of Ashes. His work has also appeared in newspapers, magazines and national radio productions.
